Our vehicles are fully equipped for a vanlife road trip. They have a refrigerator, gas stoves, pans, cutting board, cutlery, plates, glasses, pan, pot and everything you need to cook. On the page of each vehicle, you will find the full list. We also get you the essentials to get you started the first day : Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Salt, olive oil, toilet paper, kitchen paper towel. CHECKINS Weekdays (Monday to Friday) : Checkins are at 06AM or from 19.15 Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) : Anytime CHECKOUTS Weekdays (Monday to Friday) : Checkouts are at 06.30 AM or from 20.15 Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) : Anytime Being older vehicles, there are restrictions to circulate in Barcelona city. These restrictions do not allow us to use the vehicles from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays (ZBE: Low Emission Zone where the circulation of the most polluting vehicles is restricted to protect the atmosphere, people's health and the environment). There are no restrictions on weekends.

ZIGGY, LENNY: Those vehicles are made for 2 people. VERMUT, TOMATINA: They are suitable for 3 adults maximum . There are 2 beds. We do not accept bookings for 4 people.

The rental of any of our vans includes 150km/day with the possibility of going up to 200km/day (€10/day). It is not allowed to do more to preserve our beloved vehicles who need to be revised regularly. If you do overpass by a few kilometers, the extra cost is 0,4€/km. For weekend trips, we highly advice to travel nearby and visit beautiful Cataluña (Costa Brave, Delta del Ebre etc.) . Yes indeed and we keep it affordable :) It costs 20€. That corresponds to cleaning of the exterior of the vehicle. For the interior, our guests should return the vehicle clean and organized the same way that we gave it at checkin : 1. Check there is no rubbish left 2. Put back everything at the same place that at checkin 3. Clean plates, kitchen utensils etc. 4. Take out bedsheets and put it together 5. Very basic cleaning of the floor (Take out sand etc.) We will do a deeper cleaning afterwards. For the exterior, we take care it. If It is very dirty (mud, dust) , please go and do a basic clean at the petrol station. We will take care of doing the rest.

We do not have yet an online booking system. Working on it :) On our website you will see a button at the top that says "Book now". It takes you to a form where you can indicate the dates that interest you and the van you want to book. We will reply to your request by email and answer any question you might have. To officially lock the dates, we ask for a deposit of 30%. The rest gets paid at checkin. Once the payment is made, we will create a whatsapp group to organize your trip. Yes, for our Kombis the minimum age is 25 years old and for the Lada Niva the minimum age is 23 years old. Also keep in mind that if you are not from a european country, you will need the international driving permit.(https://www.autoeurope.com/international-driving-permit-spain/)

Glad you ask! The vehicles have 2 batteries : - One for the motor. All fine there. - One for the amenities : fridge, lights etc. The latter is the one that you have to watch out for! Fully charged, you have roughly 48 hours autonomy for the lights, fridge etc. without moving. Every two hours of driving, you get 1/2 day autonomy. So our advice : For a weekend, you will be fine as long as you drive every day. For 4 days+ trips, we advice to go one night at camping and fully recharge there in the middle of the trip.

We ask for a minimum of 2 years of driving license to be able to rent our vehicles.

At checkin, all drivers should bring their valid Spanish (class B) or international driving licenses and a valid identity document (DNI or Passport). All documents must be originals, we do not accept photocopies. Remember to have a credit card too for the security deposit. It is important that you check the limits of the card so that everything works well. We do not accept debit cards for the security deposit. The card must be in the name of a person who is present at the delivery of the vehicle and who will have to bring a valid DNI or passport.

The checkin process is a little longer than for a normal vehicle. Count between 25 and 40 minutes. We will explain you exhaustively how the vehicle works, its motor, the beds, the kitchen, the fridge etc. so that you are fully ready to enjoy your time with the van. We will also check the interior and exterior of the van so that we all agree on the state of the car at departure. We will verify your ID, driving licences before proceeding to the payment. Finally, we will make you try the vehicle passing first gear and reverse gear. After that, the adventure can begin!

You can choose to return the vehicle to our garage or we can pick it up at the airport or your home (extra fee of 90€) CHECKOUT TIME : It is important to respect the determined checkout time as we are ourselves driving to the garage for the checkout. There is no open office. CLEANING : We have a strict cleaning policy. We rent our beloved vintage vehicles and we like the advanturers to take care of them the most possible, with a smooth driving and keeping it clean inside. Therefore, for checkout, we ask you to do the following : - Take out any rubbish - Cutlery and kitchen equipment clean and put back where they were. - Bedsheets taken out and put in one place - Basic clean up of the floor - Empty the fridge - Check nothing has been forgotten (phone, clothes, food etc.) If the exterior is very dirty, dust, dirt, take the van to a car wash at a petrol station for a quick clean to take off the dirt. We take care of cleaning in detail the exterior by hand. SECURITY DEPOSIT : During checkout, we check the condition of the vehicle, inside and outside. If there was an incident or something missing, we will calculate the cost and deduce it from the deposit. If this is not possible on the spot, we withhold the deposit until we have been able to determine the cost of the damage.

The deposit and the conditions depend on the insurance you chose: - €900 with ESSENTIAL coverage - €600 with PROTECT coverage (€15/day) - €100 with PROTECT PLUS coverage (€30/day) Since there is a possibility of damage or loss of accessories, we take a guarantee in the form of a deposit (bank pre-authorization). However, you will be responsible for the vehicle. Security deposit is taken by CREDIT CARD (Debit Card or cash no) If it is damaged in a way that is not covered by insurance (driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, for example) you are responsible for the total damage caused.

The van should be returned in the same condition than at checkin : clean inside with all elements at the same place and with the fuel tank at the same level as on delivery. We have a strict cleaning policy. We rent our beloved vintage vehicles and we like the advanturers to take care of them the most possible, with a smooth driving and keeping it clean inside. You can park and sleep anywhere where parking is allowed, but you cannot camp anywhere that does not expressly allow it. But what is camping and what is parking? Parking is when that you park the vehicle and do not increase the space that you would use on the road i.e. not take out chairs or tables, awning or put on very loud music. Once you do one of these things it is considered camping. This at least is the simple and valid answer everywhere. What we advice if you do not go to a camping site, is to download apps such as park4night.(https://park4night.com/) They indicate cool and isolated spots where you can stay with a campervan.

You can let that choice to the person receiving the voucher. We remind you that the vouchers of 2 or 4 days are not valid from July to August because the rental must be for at least 5 days during summer.

Yes, you can! A few things to know : You will have to make sure that you carry it according to the regulations. We cannot accept any responsibility for how you transport your pet in the van. Pets are forbidden to go on the bed or seats. That is a NO-NO. There is an extra fee of 30€.

We have a strict non-smoking policy in the van. Nor do we allow candles inside the vehicle, for security reasons. As for portable stoves, we recommend them to be used outside the vehicle to avoid possible damage inside the vehicle.

You have 3 options: The ESSENTIAL is the insurance automatically included if you do not contract another option. It is an all-risk insurance with a security deposit and franchise of €900 The PROTECT option is more complete. It Includes 2 drivers (instead of 1) It is an all-risk insurance with security deposit of €600 with roadside assistance and covered windows and moons. Also here the deposit is equal to the franchise and would be €600. It has a cost of €15/day. PROTECT PLUS is the maximum coverage we offer. It is an all-risk insurance with a €100 security deposit, roadside assistance, windows and glass covered. Covered punctures. Includes 2 drivers. If you choose this insurance there will be a franchise of €100. It has a cost of €30/day.

It is not possible, unfortunately. One of the options is to leave the car in a parking lot close by to 600m. Going through the website elparking (https://elparking.com/en/barcelona/parking-viajeros/27145?start_date=2022-05-09T21%3A00&end_date=2022-05-10T22%3A00)is quite cheap. Second option is for a person to come by scooter/motorcycle and this scooter can stay in our garage and then pick up your bags at your house with the van. Third option is to request the home delivery service for an extra fee.

Thanks for checking the oil :) We do verify oil levels before any checkins so you should not have to worry about it. This said, for those who take a longer trip (>4 days) It is always a good thing to check oil level on your way back. It is a pretty classic process : - If oil level is below minimum, top it up until It reaches the max. How much should you ask. Put 0,5L You will find oil in the van that is specific for this type of vehicle (20W50 synthetic oil) Do not put any type of oil. The difference between min and maximum is 0,75L. Putting too much is dangerous too so stick to 0,5L :)

Nope. Contrary to the VW Kombi, the Lada Niva is great to go on dirt roads and find great isolated spots in the middle of nature. What you can not do is use it as a 4*4 offroading. FYI, All vehicles are tracked with GPS.

First, all our vehicles have an external shower. Additionally, you can rent us a shower tent for 10€. If you want a hot shower, you can warm up the water and put it in the shower tank.
